With our headquarters based in Newcastle, we have the ability, resources and reach to operate both nationally and within the Asia Pacific region. At CFO Access we offer experienced CFOs and Finance Directors as your business partner, on a part time or project basis. We focus on the detail so you can focus on the big picture.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL CFO?
Virtual CFO stands for Virtual Chief Financial Officer.
A Virtual CFO (VCFO) is the CFO you have when you don’t need a full time CFO.
The VCFO provides ongoing strategic financial support to small and medium sized businesses on an interim and part-time basis. Virtual CFOs are a trusted, strategic extension of your core team and can help bridge the gap between a bookkeeper and full time CFO.
Depending on the needs of the business, Virtual CFOs can provide any number of ongoing or on demand services in support of the business.
Virtual CFOs do not provide basic bookkeeping services or the compliance / tax services which are typically provided by your in-house or external bookkeeper or accountant. However if you do need any of these services we have support partners that we can engage.

Born and raised in Newcastle, Paul always knew he would work in finance. He began his career working with some of Australia's largest accounting firms where he specialised in partnering with distressed companies, providing turnaround and restructuring solutions for over 10 years.
Armed with these skills, Paul moved into the commercial accounting sector and was appointed the finance head of Asia Pacific for one of the world's largest computer connectivity providers with turnover exceeding $1.5 billion. Paul has also worked for one of Australasia's largest plastic manufacturers and most recently was the Group Chief Financial Officer for Australia's largest community housing provider, managing 9,000 properties and assets in excess of $375 million.
Paul has the belief that SMEs and NFPs have the best chance of meeting their goals when they partner with high level virtual CFOs that can provide financial information and insights. Over the last 20 years, Paul has developed a real passion for helping businesses through all stages of their life cycles and thrives on providing solutions to clients' problems - no matter how small.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle.
